Learn. Connect. Be heard.
Samacitta works to make emotional well-being a natural part of everyday life through skills, community spaces and accessible emotional support.

A lot of life happens between “I’m fine” and “I need professional help.”
There are things we carry quietly. A difficult relationship. A loss. Feeling disconnected. Not knowing what we’re feeling or how to talk about it.
Often, the first people we turn to are the people already around us. What if we were better equipped to be there for one another?
That’s where Samacitta comes in: building skills, creating spaces and offering support when we need it.

About Us
Emotional well-being isn’t something we only need when things go badly.
It is part of how we live, work, study, parent, make friendships, navigate loss and care for one another.
Samacitta grew from Pukar and from thousands of conversations that showed us how often people need somewhere to turn long before they reach a point of crisis.
We are building more places to learn, connect and be heard and helping more people develop the skills to offer that support to others.

We take our work seriously.
Samacitta is built around trained volunteers and facilitators, clear boundaries, confidentiality, supervision and referral pathways. We know that community-level support has limits and we take those limits seriously.
There should be more places to turn to.
A place to learn. A place to connect. A place to talk.
That’s what we’re building.
